Introduction to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

 

CSR refers to the way in which businesses regulate themselves in order to ensure that all of their activities positively affect society as a whole. CSR policies aim to guarantee that companies work ethically, considering human rights as well as the social, economic and environmental impacts of what they do as a business. Businesses should meet, and aim to exceed, any relevant legislation, and if legislation does not exist in a particular area, the company should ensure they carry out best practices anyway.

Who we are and what we do

Serving the needs of Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Customers with Quality Products, Quality Service and Prompt Delivery.

Founded in 1950, Midwest Air Filter, Inc. has provided air filtration products to the Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Residential HVAC marketplace for over 60 continuous years.

We stock filters in our three locations throughout Michigan and fabricate special size products to assure prompt delivery at competitive prices.

We are members of the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) and employ a NAFA Certified Air Filtration Specialist (CAFS). We are a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and are current with our industry issues, standards, research, and requirements.

We take pride in the way we develop each Total Filtration Management Team (TFM) for our customer – it is tailored to the customers’ specifications while utilizing employee’s areas of expertise. This allows a multi-disciplinary approach to how we conduct business. We customize the team instead of requiring the customer to adhere to set guidelines, thus allowing our customers to choose the amount of interaction that they require.

Looking after Customers

 

It is so important to Midwest Air Filter, Inc to look after our customers, ensuring they have a positive and lasting impression of our business.

  • Each customer has an account manager that they can contact.
  • There is continuity in the unique aspects of a customer’s needs within the system so that any employee can assist the customer.
  • Each Order is acknowledged via email when applicable so the customer has reassurance their order has been processed.
  • Our customer portal allows each participating customer access to their account, previous orders, invoices and full product catalogue.

 

 

Protecting the Environment

 

It is important to commit to reducing the environment impact that our business activities may have.

  • Midwest Air Filter, Inc has provided recycling containers to ensure we can reduce our landfill waste.
  • We have adopted low water usage landscaping on our grounds to conserve water.
  • Many of the components in our products are designed to be easily recycled.
  • Encouraging greener transport by providing mass transport information and adjusting employee’s schedules to accomidate when needed.
